Join Us for an Unforgettable Journey
on the W Trek in Patagonia

Set in the heart of Torres del Paine National Park, the W Trek offers a chance to move through one of Patagonia’s most striking landscapes on foot. Over seven days, this route traces glacial valleys, winds past turquoise lakes, and leads to some of the park’s most recognizable viewpoints.

The trail moves through a landscape shaped by powerful Patagonian winds, ancient glaciers, and millions of years of geologic change. One section of the journey includes sailing across Lake Grey, where floating blue icebergs drift away from the immense Grey Glacier. This glacier is part of the vast Southern Patagonian Ice Field, the third-largest body of ice on Earth after Antarctica and Greenland. From the shoreline trail, the glacier’s towering ice walls and creaking ice fields reveal the scale of the landscape.

Another day leads toward the base of the park’s most recognizable formation within the Paine Massif. The final climb brings hikers to a glacial lake set beneath the three granite towers that rise nearly 2,500 meters (about 8,200 feet) above the surrounding terrain. The rock faces were carved and exposed by retreating glaciers, creating one of Patagonia’s most photographed viewpoints.

Between these landmarks, the trail passes through lenga forests, wide glacial valleys, and high alpine terrain shaped by shifting weather and open skies. Herds of guanaco are often seen grazing on the hillsides, and condors can sometimes be spotted riding thermals overhead. Days unfold at the pace of the trail, with time to pause at overlooks, watch clouds move across the peaks, and experience the quiet rhythm of traveling on foot through this remote landscape.
